Fresno Unified Opens Community Input on Next Budget

Fresno Unified is inviting families, teachers, and community members to help shape its next budget through a series of input sessions. District leaders say early feedback helps set priorities before difficult trade-offs are finalized.

Common themes in past years have included classroom support, mental-health services, and keeping class sizes manageable. Parents have also pushed for clearer communication about how dollars translate into results in the classroom.

District staff say the sessions are meant to be genuinely two-way, with time for questions. A draft budget will follow, giving the public another chance to comment before adoption.
