Fresno County has released a prioritized list of road-improvement projects, ranking work by collision history, traffic counts, and pavement condition. The goal, officials say, is to make spending decisions clearer and less subject to guesswork.
Rural intersections with poor sightlines and heavily traveled connector roads are expected to rank high. County staff say tackling the most dangerous stretches first delivers the biggest safety return for each dollar.
Residents will be able to review the ranked list and weigh in before final decisions. Officials noted that grant timing could move some projects ahead of others.
